At Brothers In Arms, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and grow. This week, that vision came alive at Mbayani Primary School, the largest primary school in population the whole Africa, where we gathered to celebrate hard work, resilience, and hope in our club.

Honoring Academic Excellence
The celebration began with joy and gratitude as we recognized the top-performing learners from the previous school term. These students have shown incredible determination despite the many challenges they face in their communities.
To honor their achievement, each student received exercise books — a simple but powerful reminder that effort and discipline lead to success.

“Education opens doors, and we want these children to know that their effort is seen, valued, and celebrated,” said the Director.

Discussing the initiative, George Kaombe, the school manager, expressed gratitude to Brothers In Arms for the support they are providing to the students. He noted, "Many students are showing improvements in both their behavior and academic performance, which is making the teachers' jobs appear much easier."

Small Gifts with Great Meaning
To enhance their physical and emotional wellbeing, learners ranked between 1 and 10 received: Exercise books – as we value academic excellence Toothpaste and toothbrushes – because health and dignity are important Likuni phala (porridge) – since nutrition drives learning and recovery. All other club members received exercise books.
These small gifts reflect a bigger message: you are loved, valued, and capable of greatness.
A Community of Hope
The Mbayani Brothers In Arms Club continues to provide consistent mentorship, encouragement, and faith-based support to children from vulnerable backgrounds. Through education and discipleship, we are nurturing a generation that will rise above its challenges and shine with purpose.
