2023 IN REVIEW: The dining hall

Not only is our ministry growing with new participants ready for spiritual growth and transformation, our Community Impact Center continues to grow by creating more spaces for education and rest.

At the end of 2022 we finished the construction of our dining hall.(the pic above)

THE SUMMER HAT

In January, we built a summer hut; a breezy open hut for people to fellowship, take a break from the sun and spread out a bit.

THE FENCE

THE GATE

In March we completed our project of enclosing our living space with a wall and gate.

Lunzu is a beautiful place to be.

THE DORM

Our boys finally has a place to call their dorm. It has 7 rooms for sleeping in and a sitting room. Thanks to Grace Chapel Community church for building and helping furnish it with chairs and closets.

Thanks to Ms. Judith Masanche and Ms Mkisi for the gift of curtains to give a finishing look to the hostel.

IRRIGATION PUMP

Irrigation system installed at Brothers at Brothers in Arms farm. What a blessing towards achieving maximum food security.

Malawi has only one growing season, it has the ability to only produce food once a year according to the rainfall pattern. With the irrigation installed, food can be grown all year long, meaning costs have been cut drastically.

BASKETBALL COURT

We completed the Christmas Basketball Project at Brothers In Arms. Sports is something that brings a lot of unity, fun and joy across the world. It is a joy to introduce basketball to a village and we are looking forward to having a grassroots team.

CHISOMOS BIKE

Chisomo got his bike as he went home to join with his family. He was successfully re intergrated back to the community after going through the program. He is now going to continue with his motor vehicle mechanical training with motor care garage. During His time at the center, he has developed leadership skills and become very reliable when given assignments .

This is our goal, to be a channel of change and transformation. We desire to see these boys go back to their original communities with the a different story and inspire their friends in a good way.

SEWING MACHINES

Tailoring course begins at Brothers in arms.

The call was made for the introduction of tailoring and designing trade and thanks to well wishers who supplied us with 2 sewing machines. This will benefit the students along with providing the much needed income after selling the sewn items.

HANNAH THE COW

Be the light ministries has been very thoughtful about our farm and has made a donation of a milk cow. This will bring the much needed nutrition to the boys. The goal is to have several cows so that we can go commercial in milk production.
