What started as simply a meal after Sunday service, many trials and errors, seasons of provision and seasons of waiting has grown roots into owning land and finding a space to call home. A space where the weary, downtrodden, outcast and brokenhearted can come and find hope, restoration and family.
In January of 2021 we received a donation from Switzerland. We felt it was best to find land in knowing God would one day provide the rest of our needs. In November of 2021 we received word that we would be receiving the funds to be able to begin building the Community Impact Center. We first broke ground on the project in mid December. We have employed men from the village the the builders, so that we can give back to the community, and they can be a part of what we are doing.
While we have a vision for a vocational training centre, boarding for participants, multiple classrooms and a multipurpose centre, we are beginning our building project with a three room structure that will start out as a classroom, bedroom and computer room/library. As God continues to provide, we will build more.
After the building begun, we received more donations to purchase the surrounding land so that we can have a soccer field and more space. God has exceeded our expectations, and we give Him thanks for all He has done
Thank you to everyone who has listened to the promptings of the Spirit to invest in the vision of what God is doing through Brother's in Arms. We look forward to seeing the lives that are changed through events and outreaches that are held on this property.
